This attachment tape is a good choice for attaching heavier automotive trim and parts such as spoilers and running boards. It features a thick .090 inch (2.28 mm) closed-cell acrylic foam core that delivers strength and conformability on contoured surfaces. A high performance plasticizer-resistant acrylic adhesive is applied to both sides, and delivers high peel and shear adhesion. The core of this OEM-approved attachment tape provides a blend of strength and conformability which allows for consistent wet-out. The foam core also features viscoelastic properties that allow it to elongate and relax when put under load, minimizing stress on the adhesive bond line and maintaining a permanent, reliable hold.
