About the blog
This is a dedicated space for expectant fathers to learn, engage, and grow. This blog was born out of my observations and personal experiences, highlighting the crucial yet often overlooked role of men in the pregnancy journey.
Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the confusion and misinformation surrounding menstruation and pregnancy. Vividly remember a childhood summer when someone kept my mother in a separate room and told me that a crow had made her “unclean.” The explanation left me bewildered, and for years. I threw stones at crows, not understanding the real reason behind my mother’s seclusion. These early experiences, along with my professional observations of how people often leave men out of critical conversations, inspired me to create this platform. In my practice, I’ve seen many men standing outside OPDs, operation theatres, and labor rooms, clueless about what was happening inside.
This blog aims to bridge that gap by providing expectant fathers with the information, resources, and support they need to be active, informed participants in their partners’ pregnancy journeys. I believe that learning about these topics will help men understand and support the females in their lives, not just their partners. Here, you’ll find personal stories, practical guides, and expert advice designed to demystify menstruation, pregnancy, and fetal development. My goal is to foster a supportive community. Where men can ask questions, share experiences, and gain the confidence to be there for their partners every step of the way.
I also hope this blog will be a journey of mutual learning. By listening to the personal experiences of others, I aim to deepen my understanding and provide even better support to the fathers-to-be who visit this site. Join me as we break taboos, dispel myths, and create a more inclusive and understanding environment for expectant fathers. Together, we can make the journey of pregnancy a shared, enriching experience for both partners.
